The Spider is the twelfth and final episode of the fourth season of Arby 'n' the Chief. It is also the 38th episode overall in the series. It is notable for introducing the character Greg.
Summary[]
A typical uneventful day for Master Chief and the Arbiter, a chronic arachnophobe, is turned upside down when a large tarantula finds its way into Jon's apartment.
Plot[]
The episode begins with the Arbiter playing The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask on Nintendo 64 while Master Chief watches, eating a bowl of cereal. During the game, He notices Arbiter's rather timid behavior towards the Skulltulas in the game and ridicules him for it. Arbiter then pressures the him into washing his bowl, in which he does. However, he encounters a large spider standing on the counter and climbs down the counter slowly, and then runs in a panicked manner. He tells Arbiter 'srs tho' but Chief overuses the term, and Arbiter shows complete disregard. After a long conversation Arbiter sees the spider in the kitchen, and quickly run away and lock themselves in the bathroom. After another conversation, Arbiter finds out Chief left the bowl on the plug, which could cause the sink to overflow with water and make contact with the appliances in the kitchen, causing them to short-circuit and destroy the apartment. Chief and Arbiter agree to go out together, but Chief locks Arbiter out, only to find that the spider is in the bathroom. After turning off the tap, and then driving away the spider with insults, Arbiter and Chief find a note saying "just wantid to hang :(".

The next morning, Arbiter brings out lots of food to the hall, and calls for the spider. The spider appears behind him, scaring him. Arbiter asks what the spider's name is. He responds by writing on a pad saying that his name is Greg. Chief asks to talk with Arbiter in private, and tells him that they have to kill it. Arbiter refuses to, and Chief says that he'll do it himself. However, Greg had been eavesdropping, which results in Chief getting webbed up by Greg, while Arbiter plays Majora's Mask and Greg watches.
