Xbox Live has fallen into a chasm of utter chaos; an intermittent game glitch is causing players' Katana body pieces and Security shoulders to vanish, as well as denying players the ability to unlock certain achievements, and Master Chief has now fallen victim to it. Master Chief throws the Arbiter, who couldn't care less about the situation, into the middle of the chaos in the hopes that he'll realize just how big of a deal it is, and somehow put a stop to the madness.
Arbiter is sitting down playing Xbox 360, as usual. Chief shows up and tells Arbiter that he is just going to kill himself. Arbiter, who is not really paying attention, says "'Kay whatever". Chief leaves. Afterwards Arbiter tries to find the play game option on the dashboard. He then realizes what Chief just said and goes to find him, and sees that he is in the oven. Arbiter asks why Chief wants to kill himself. Chief shows Arbiter that his katana in Halo 3 has disappeared due to a glitch. Arbiter disregards it as not being a big deal. This is until Chief shows Arbiter that everyone on Xbox Live is rioting against Bungie due to numerous glitches, including disappearance of katana, disappearance of security shoulder and getting to the rank of Lieutenant on matchmaking and not getting the Spartan Officer achievement.
Arbiter joins a server with one of Chief's friends on Snowbound and goes into one of the undergound areas which is being used as a safehouse for the people who are still sane. It has a red player, a blue player and a yellow player there. The red player tries to stop Arbiter at first but when he shows that he is still sane, he calms down and lets him stay there. The blue player explains that everyone on Xbox Live is rioting. Outside, a player is angry that he didn't get the Spartan officer achievement and decides that he is going to give Bungie a piece of his mind. Another player comments saying that it isn't a big deal, followed by the former killing the latter with a shotgun. Back in the safehouse, the blue player mentions that a friend of his lost his security shoulders and killed himself. The episode ends back outside the safehouse showing numerous players rioting and killing themselves.
- This was the first episode of Season 3 to be uploaded in 2009.
- When Arbiter is trying to find the play game option, his wallpaper/theme is Alucard from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. In The Mail Room it is confirmed that Arbiter is a fan of the Castlevania series.
- This is the second two-part orientated episode in the series.
- Chief's method of suicide attempt by immoliating himself in the oven somewhat foreshadows the events of Heat, 4 seasons later. Whether or not this was intentional on Jon's part remains unknown.
