"Hi! My name is Jon. Legendary director and writer of shows such as Arby 'n' the Chief from machinima.com. And, um... I know in my shows... I have a reputation for being a little self-critical and derogatory to myself, making fun of myself, you know... It's nice to be honest for a change, because... I always had a feeling that stuff that I write... is almost godly in a sense, you know what I mean? Just like... It sounds like I'm being sarcastic, but I'm actually not, like... I just think I'm sort of better than anybody else and... I finally get a chance to admit that."

Jonathan "Jon" Christopher James Graham, also known as Jon CJG and formerly as DigitalPh33r, is a Canadian writer, director, cinematographer, editor and composer; best known for creating the web series Arby 'n' the Chief as well as other machinima shows such as Deus Ex Machina, Hard Justice, and One Life Remaining.

In 2016 he began production of See Me After Class, a memoir podcast focusing on life during and after school.

BiographyEdit

Jon was born in May 1988 in Glasgow, Scotland[citation needed], to Helen and Barry D. Graham.[1] He moved to Vancouver, BC, Canada very early in his childhood and currently lives there. Jon has said that one of the earliest moments that sparked his interest in filmmaking was a video with toys made by his dad.[2]

Since 2007, Jon has been releasing various machinima videos on YouTube, with modest success. A major breakthrough in his career was the release of Master Chief Sucks at Halo, which was shortly followed by Master Chief Sucks at Halo 2. After the latter was released, Jon was contacted by Machinima Inc. and offered a contract to create more videos for the network.

The first work of Jon's distributed by Machinima Inc. was Master Chief Sucks at Halo 3, and later Arby 'n' the Chief. Simultaneously with Arby 'n' the Chief, Jon has released various other shows like Deus Ex Machina, Hard Justice and One Life Remaining, most of which focused more on dramatic elements.

From 2011 to 2015 Jon has studied at Capilano University in Vancouver. In 2015, he received a BFA degree in Motion Picture Arts.[3]

Starting with Season 5 he obtained better voice acting support, having a much wider cast in the show; however he still chooses to voice a few characters.
