One Love is the seventh and final episode of the second season of Arby 'n' The Chief - Bytes.

Summary[]

Master Chief sits down to a quiet and elegant dinner date, which is turned upside down when Arbiter reveals a certain something that Jon has recently brought home.

Plot[]

Master Chief is wearing his fancy suit, sitting at a makeshift table with a candle and having classical music play in the background, as though he was on a date. It is then revealed that his "date" is a copy of Halo: Reach. He then pours some alcahol for himself and the game.

After a series of searching through music and making love to the game case, Chief then turns around after a while, and Arbiter is shown staring at him while holding a shopping bag with a game case in it.

Arbiter tells him that Jon just bought something that would interest Chief, who is then shown opening the bathroom door, dragging Halo: Reach close behind him. He takes the game out of its case, breaks the disc clean in two, throws the destroyed game down the toilet, and flushes it.

He is then shown at his makeshift shrine, with Halo 4 taking the place of where Halo: Reach formerly stood. Chief is continuously saying that his "god" was awesome, saying that Halo 4 was the best gift humankind could have been given. He then starts humping the game, saying that he and Halo: Reach was just an influctuation, adding that they were going to be together forever. Arbiter just shakes his head in disbelief and walks away.
