"I don't mean to suggest that you're indecisive, but I'd just like to remind you that this is your last chance to turn back."

Wake is the twelfth episode of the seventh season of Arby 'n' the Chief.

Summary

Chief continues to be haunted by visions of Cortana. Following his in-depth discussion with Eugene, Arbiter makes a rash decision.

Plot

WAKE

Arbiter talks to Chief about his decision change.

Still asleep, Chief dreams about talking trash to another player on Xbox LIVE before his controller dies. After attempting to replace the batteries, he looks up to find a disturbing image of Cortana's face on the television screen.

Chief wakes up in horror, and notices Arbiter smoking at the window. Chief asks Arbiter why he is smoking all of a sudden, and demands that Arbiter give him the cigarette. When Arbiter declines, Chief goes off to play some Halo, but then, Arbiter admits that he is "game" to use fragban. When Chief asks him why, Arbiter simply tells him "Like I said, fuck it." After Arbiter snuffs his cigarette, Chief grabs one of them out of the ashtray and attempts to light it. At that moment, Chief sees another apparition of Cortana behind Arbiter.

Chief and Colin - Wake

Chief, at gunpoint by Colin.

Later on, Eugene is discsussing Tyler's behavior with an irate Colin on a Halo server. Colin is angry at Eugene for trusting him after their brief yet heated argument from before. Eugene reassures Colin that Tyler will cooperate due his longtime friendship they share. Colin angrily tells Eugene that Tyler is the only other person he is willing to involve with fragban. However, at that moment, Chief and Arbiter both enter the server and confirm their interest in using the fragban patch. Eugene introduces the duo to Colin, who threatens to frag Arbiter and Chief out of paranoia that they could be found out about. Eugene convinces Colin to ease off and the latter walks away, begrudginly allowing the involvement of Arbiter and Chief. When warned by Eugene that this is the point of no return, Arbiter tells Eugene that he has nothing to turn back to.
